Assignment 2b - Live Presentations (Presentation required for 754 students, Feedback post required for all 454 and 754 students) (wt. 3%)

You will see a "reply" to this discussion for each live presentation (a three-minute live presentation is required for students in MSE 754) given in our second session. Pay special attention to our presenters when they introduce themselves, so you know whose presentation you are commenting on.

For each live presentation, offer two "keepers" and two "improves." This is terminology from the Decker materials. Keepers are things you saw/heard in the presentation where the presenter should be commended. Improves are issues where, you guessed it, improvement would make for a stronger presentation.

My strategy, especially given the tight timeframe for feedback, is to have your notes ready in this format:

Be adding your feedback to your notes as the presentation progresses. During class or before 11:59pm, add your feedback under the presenter's discussion entry. I will demonstrate during class. Late contributions incur a 1 point/day deduction from the given grade.
